Hobsons Bay Bird Watching May 30, 2018

Our group of friends from Singapore was guided by Libby a ranger from Hobsons Bay, accompanied by Artist Kate Gorringe Smith and Jackie Kerin and John to this wetland in Williamstown on our first morning  in Melbourne on 21 May. Some of us were first timers in bird watching. It was really an eye opener for them. I got to see first hand some species here live and it was a real treat, with a running commentary from John.

Beyond Gingers.. Tham Pui San’s Encounters with Nature May 16, 2018

Its over a month ago that this art exhibition was launched. It will still be on show till 8 Jul 2108.

Am glad to know that it is well received by the general public visiting the Botanic Gardens and also those who specially wanted to view the exhibition. An estimated count of 3000 have seen the displayed artworks so far.

I shall be conducting a guided tour for the public this Sat 19 May, at 9am at the gallery.
