Going outdoors to sketch and paint should be practised all the time to hone one’s skill at observation and expressing on paper or canvas. Pen drawings are quick means to record scenes and using water color medium adds a new dimension to the line drawings. Shown here are some examples for students to refer to. These are done at the Main Hide at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve where we meet on monthly basis to enjoy nature and art.

The next painting session will be held on 26June, 2011 from 0830 to 1130, at the Main Hide.
We can also paint along the path justoutside the hide, which offer different perspectives of the landscapes here, along Route 1.
