Pulai Ubin ARTSTS

We have started a new group of painting enthusiats at Pulau Ubin. We meet at the Volunteer Hub on the first Sunday morning of each month. The first exhibition of this group should be happening at the end of 2010. Be sure to join us if you are keen to explore landscape and nature painting in a different environment. (The word PULAI is chosen to connect the group to the famous Pulai Tree in Ubin).

Reststop for visitors

Art in Hort Park, Coming Exhibition.
The park connector that runs from Mt Faber to Kent Ridge is a new experience for all. I particularly like the stretch from The Henderson Waves to the Horticultural Park at Alexandra Road.
In this post I have added three scenes painted around here for you to sample what you can expect to see and enjoy while appreciating nature here. These are part of an effort to introduce on-site landscape painting in the Hort Park next year which I would be conducting.

HortPark will be holding an exhibition of my paintings from 13 Mar to 28 Mar 2010 at Hort Park.
It will feature 12 of my oil paintings of this nature area. Come and enjoy the exhibition and the park.
