Sometimes you need to look hard to find seedlings sprouting on the mudflat. But they are there waiting to grow up.The presence of these cute young plants gives one the renewed hope and faith in mother nature.

Last sketch for 2015 at Sungei Buloh December 26, 2015

For the places I love, a little something special about it makes it more alluring. It could be the weather, the morning shine of the clouds reflected in the water, or simply the birds that came to rest. But i just want to capture that special appeal which will mark my last sketching effort for the year in this wetlands.
Will be there at Eagle Point tomorrow morning to savour it once more.1-2015-12-027

A New Look for Sungei Buloh Wetlands Eerie December 12, 2015

I made a long overdue visit to my favourite reserve last week and was pleasantly surprised at the new clean  look of the bund thats leads to the Observation Tower and the freshly trimmed undergrowth. Sighted 10 storks and  hundreds of whimbrels lining the curved bund enjoying the bright sunny morning. Painted this new look for the records.
