Sharing nature through art

My 12 years of volunteering at SBWR, a sketch of Mudflat at Shelter 2 Sungei Buloh Wetlands February 24, 2014

Mudflat at Shelter 2 Sungei Buloh Wetlands

When the tide recedes the mudflat comes alive. Its varied texture and expanse requires one to really take notice. Here my monochrome sketch captures the arresting morning light silhouetting the mangrove trees and illuminating the mud flat surface, exposing numerous mud skipper puddles in the foreground. This made my day before my art class begins at the next shelter for the Buloh Dabblers.
