My favourite medium for sketching wetlands is graphite and line and wash but this morning  I decided to try out my new set of Tinted Charcoal made by Derwent just when  the  Buta  Buta trees were turning autumn colours at Sungei Buloh Wetlands.Imaget

Here is the photo of  this attempt. Fine  Line work and  bold strokes can be easily done by careful control of line pressure.  Subtle hues is  a great feature of this medium………Tham Pui San  23Oct 12.
